The stone could not be touched. it could barely be looked upon. It was so precious it was kept in a double glass box. The glass was impenetrable and unbreakable.
The stone shone brightly at night and dimmed during the day. What could it do was a mystery but scholars maintained that it was bound to be great and magnificent.
It was only a matter of time before the implosion of fantasy would break the glass prison and set in motion the events.
