It walks the Earth leaving people weeping and on their knees. Black cape trails behind it like the darkest veil of sadness and fear.
Black crow wings rustle wherever it appears. No sun rays fall to the ground when it speaks.
When it looks at you, terrified and shocked you cannot do anything else but accept your faith.
It not ask your lineage or wealth, it does not differentiate between people. It treats us equally, maybe the only thing that does it that way.
It comes unannounced and never leaves until it’s done.
You cannot beg it, you cannot change it’s mind. It always accomplishes the task it was set to fulfill.
And when the silence rings in your ear you think:
Death – there is no greater name for terror.
