Daily Prompt: A to Z

Create a short story, piece of memoir, or epic poem that is 26 sentences long, in which the first sentence begins with “A” and each sentence thereafter begins with the next letter of the alphabet.

A tale as old as time always begins in the same way.

Boy meets a girl and they both fall deeply in love with each other.

Cursed fate however cannot allow them to be together.

Dust will fall on those happy memoires when they held each other and swore the eternal love.

Every feeling and every word uttered during those sweet moments of innocence will never be forgotten.
For as long as they do not fall in love again, that is.

Great love stories tend to be even greater disasters.

How come this one ended so badly?

Joys of first crush, first butterflies and clumsy kisses usually pass by like gentle summer wind.

Kindred spirits that met during this one fragile moment.

Love collides into those who do not seek it.

Miracle of falling in love should be experienced by everyone.

None should go about his or her life without knowing this tender feeling of regret and sorrow.

Of warm, caring and also despair when it all crashes into bits.

Potentially all first loves are doomed from the start.

Question is how quickly can one get over it an accept it?

Rest assure the heart ache and prickling tears behind your eyes won’t last forever.

Someday, maybe not tomorrow and not a week from now, but someday, you will look back at this moment and smile fondly.

The most precious thing in this world is being able to remember and being able to forget.

Until the Universe exists – that’s how long failed love stories will happen.

Vagabond feeling seems to always find us, no matter how well we try to hide.

Where’s the silver lining to this story?

Xeroxing the pattern and repeating it until we are able to break the vicious cycle.

Young love seems to be doomed from the start, doesn’t it?

Zapped by the cupid’s arrow, isn’t that the usual story written in the great book of life?
