I devour books, period. I love reading and collecting the written word have been sort of a hobby for me. I would go for a hunt every weekend and roam the second hand shops for English paperbacks. Don’t ask me why a clothes shop had English novels. I have no idea. Enough said, I found many literary jewels there.
The last book I read, actually finished yesterday, was Drop Shot by Harlan Coben. The novel features a witty sports agent slash the last righteous man in the town Myron Bolitar and his sociopathic rich friend Win Horne Lockwood. I enjoy detective stories, mysteries, thrillers and crime novels. Together with Jack Reacher and Alex Cross, Myron is one of my favorite characters. Coben’s writing style is remarkable. Quick paced stories, characters alive with vice and virtue, intricate mysteries that keep you guessing and the tension superbly build only to be finished in a powerful climax. All this and much more you will find not only in Myron Bolitar series but in other stand-alone books by Harlan Coben.
With a clear conscious I can recommend this book to you dear Readers. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
